| Functions and Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic function |
1. Responsible for system control and management operations, including route calculation, device management and maintenance, and device monitoring. As a system synchronization unit, this board provides high-precise and reliable clock and time signals. 2. Responsible for cell transmission between BSUs/MSUs and implements Ethernet communications with the SRU for centralized system control and management of the SRU. In addition, this board supports board temperature and voltage monitoring. |
| Reliability and availability | The main control boards and SFUs are integrated. The main control boards work in 1:1 backup mode, and the SFUs work in 2+1 backup mode. The three SFUs balance services at the same time. If one SFU is faulty or replaced, the other two SFUs automatically take over its services to ensure service continuity, improving system reliability. |
| Restrictions and remarks | This board cannot be installed in the same chassis as other types of main control boards. |
| Breakout supported | No |
| Interface rate auto-sensing supported | No |
| Link protocol | - |
