| Description | 1-Port 400GBase-QSFP-DD Physical Interface Card(PIC) |
| Part Number | 03034AAY |
| Model | CR8D00E1KBC0 |
| Card type | Interface Card |
| Silkscreen | 1x400GE-QSFP-DD |
| Functions and Features | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic function |
Occupies two FPIC slots. The board provides one 400GE QSFP-DD port and one QSFP28 OA port on the line side. 1. The rate of a QSFP-DD port is 400 Gbps. 2. The QSFP28 OA port supports the OA module. |
| Reliability and availability | Hot swappable. |
| Restrictions and remarks |
1. By default, QSFP-DD interfaces support 400G QSFP-DD optical modules. To enable QSFP-DD interfaces to support 100G QSFP28 optical modules, run the port split command in the system view. 2. When this interface card is used with a 400G ZR+ optical module, the short-term operating temperature supported by the optical module ranges from –5°C to +50°C (23°F to 122°F). 3. This interface card is a dual-slot card. It occupies subcard slots [7, 9] or [8, 10] on an M14 device, subcard slots [1, 3] or [2, 4] on an M4 DC device, and subcard slots [2, 4] on an M4 AC device. |
| Breakout supported |
Yes. 400G ports support 4x100G breakout (since V800R026C00SPC300). To enable the breakout function on a port, run the port split command. The breakout ports must use breakout optical modules of the corresponding rate. |
| Interface rate auto-sensing supported | No |
| FlexE supported |
Yes Physical ports can be bundled into a FlexE group across straight-through cards. 1. This interface card supports FlexE when it is installed on the NetEngine 8000 M4. The specifications are as follows: Physical port 1 can only be added to a FlexE group containing no other ports. port-id ranges from 0 to 47 and from 1000 to 3000. Such a FlexE group supports a maximum of 48 FlexE clients. 2. This interface card supports FlexE when it is installed on the NetEngine 8000E M14, NetEngine 8000 M14 works with IPUs such as the CR8D0IPU2TM3, CR8D0IPU2TC1, CR8D0IPU2TC2, CR8D0IPU2TC3, CR8D0IPU2TC4, CR8D0IPU2TC5, CR8D0IPU2TD2, CR8D0IPU2TM1, CR8D0IPU2TM2, CR5D0IPU2TC1, CR5D0IPU2TC3, CR5D0IPU2TC5, and CR5D0IPU2T91. The specifications are as follows: Physical port 1 can only be added to a FlexE group containing no other ports. port-id ranges from 0 to 47 and from 1000 to 3000. Such a FlexE group supports a maximum of 48 FlexE clients. 3. This interface card supports FlexE when it is installed on the NetEngine 8000E M14, NetEngine 8000 M14 and works with IPUs such as the CR8D0IPU3TM5, CR8DUIPU2TM5, CR8D0IPU3TM1, CR8D0IPU3TM3, CR8DUIPU2TM3, CR8DUIPU2TM1, CR8D0IPU3TM2, CR8DUIPU2TM2, CR5D0IPU3TM1, CR5DUIPU2TM1, CR5D0IPU3TM2, and CR5DUIPU2TM2. The specifications are as follows: Versions earlier than V800R024C00: Physical port 1 can only be added to a FlexE group containing no other ports. port-id ranges from 1000 to 3000. Such a FlexE group supports a maximum of 80 FlexE clients. V800R024C00 and later: Physical port 1 can only be added to a FlexE group containing no other ports. port-id ranges from 1000 to 3000. The maximum number of FlexE clients supported by a virtual card (numbered 76, 77, 78, or 79) plus the number of interfaces split from physical ports in 1-to-N mode equal 180. The maximum number of FlexE clients supported by virtual cards 76 and 77 plus the number of interfaces split from physical ports in 1-to-N mode equal 347. The maximum number of FlexE clients supported by virtual cards 78 and 79 plus the number of interfaces split from physical ports in 1-to-N mode equal 347. A maximum of 512 FlexE clients can be created on all virtual cards of a device. |
| MACsec supported |
No Check whether the matching IPU has the MACsec capability. If the IPU has the MACsec capability, the interfaces on this interface card support MACsec. Otherwise, the interfaces do not support MACsec. |
| RTU supported | No |
