For network administrators using ZTE C600 Series OLTs, it is often necessary to remotely enable or disable the CATV port on an ONT for service activation, troubleshooting, or subscriber management.

This blog explains how to turn the ONT CATV port on or off through the ZTE C600 OLT command instance.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, ensure that:

• The ONT has been successfully registered on the ZTE C600 OLT.

• The ONT model supports CATV functionality.

• You have administrator privileges on the OLT.

• The CATV service profile has been properly configured.
